Hey ya’ll!! Sorry I’ve been quiet around these parts and I surely haven’t popped in most of my blog buddies over the last two weeks. Blame it on the man! *lol* Gotta keep that paycheck coming, ya know? Hopefully I’ll be back to posting regularly by the end of this week. A few things that have been on my mind over the last few days:
- Song I’m playing nonstop right now: William McDowell, I Give Myself Away. I first heard it at a friend’s wedding in December and it stuck with me.
- I swore that I wouldn’t get sucked into anymore trashy reality shows, but the tv landed on “You’re Cut Off” on Vh1. Spoiled rich girls who go to “boot camp” where they have to share a house, work doing various jobs, etc. **smh** I’m in. Damn.
- I love BBC News. It’s usually the first place that I start reading about world news. I loved this quick and dirty summary of what’s going on in Egypt for anyone that’s not up to speed.
- I really just don’t get the appeal of Wacka Flocka Flame. I just don’t.
- I’ve super excited about the Super Bowl this weekend! Let’s go Steelers!!
- So, does anyone know if Mike Tomlin and Omar Epps are related or what? Seriously, the resemblance is uncanny.
- I hate shady car dealerships. I’m dealing with one now that is trying to gauge my extended warranty company. Greedy bastards!
- I’m thankful for many things, but I am especially grateful to have good health insurance.

I’ve never even bothered to learn the Steelers’ coach’s name. I just call him Omar Epps.

I want to say Thursday’s at 10, but don’t quote me on that. I looked on Vh1’s website, but it’s messy as heck. I did notice that it re-ars a gazillion times during the week though. So I’m sure you can catch them at some point.

HUSH! My DVR is at 71% I’ll have you know. I don’t panic until it cross 80%. Then I start deleting MrTDJ’s ish like Hawaii 5-0 and National Geographic specials. “Huh? I don’t know what happened babe. Something must be wrong with the DVR.”

Man, the folks at this dealership had me so hot that I wanted to just drive my car through the freaking glass window! Grrr!! I’m getting hot just thinking about it. I did get 6 free oil changes, free floor mats and $200 service credit for future repairs, but still. Unnecessary nonsense!
I can’t get into the idea of tv other than news, maybe because I don’t believe any of it. As I stated on twitter, I did tune into one episode of “Beyond Scared Straight” and thought this s#!t is not TV. I have to admit this, *whispers* Waka is cute as hell, I’d take him to a black tie event only if he remained silent. Hell I might even put a sticker on him ” I’m in Silence” as they did on “Eat, Pray, Love ” …Lol
