Welcome! I’m Taya Dunn Johnson, a published author, blogger, speaker, workshop facilitator, advocate and panelist. I call myself a Native New Yorker since I was born and raised there; however the Baltimore metro area has been home since 2012. I’ve been blogging since 1999, and have been known since 2006 as MrsTDJ.
These days, I write about my life as an expressive, vulnerable, humorous and audacious widowed mother of the dopest 14 year old autistic teenage. When my husband died suddenly in June 2012, I summoned unknown strength and made bold decisions to no longer be afraid of my dreams and has set out to redefine my purpose while caring for our son.
