Oops! I noticed a few weeks ago that I was approaching post #100, but then just as quickly, I forgot. *lol* Lo and behold, it was two posts ago. Soooooooooo, this is post #102, but hell, ya’ll get the idea. Hurrah, soul clap, three cheers for ya girl! It’s been almost four years that I’ve been blogging and I still enjoy it. Back in ’06, I stumbled onto a few blogs and I was instantly hooked. I found my favorites and followed them for a few months before jumping in the game myself. I was consistent in the very beginning (posting once a week), then life just kept happening. But now in ’10, finally, I think I’ve got the hang of balancing it all, and I try to post twice a week.
Anyways, as if ya’ll don’t already know too damn much about me, here are a few more random tidbit:
- I’m terrified of cats, but when I meet new people, I usually tell them that I’m allergic. An allergy is universally understood and much easier for people to empathize with.
- I like all things banana flavored, but I can not eat an actual banana. Ick! I think it’s a texture issue. I’ll even pick the bananas out of banana pudding.
- Heard a Gerald Levert song on the radio this morning and immediately changed the station. He’s on “that list” on mine. You know the one? Artists that folks rave about and love, but they have zero appeal to you? Yeah, Gerald is on that list, along with Toni Braxton, Eric Benet, and Brandy. I’m sure there are others, but those 4 top the list.
I do want to say thanks to each and every one of you, for stopping by from time to time to read the nonsense that comes out of my head. I enjoyed blogging when I had no readers, but it’s nice to know there are some folks who enjoy what I’m putting out in cyberspace. Can I ask a favor? Chime in and let me know you’re out there.

Hmmm… I think I’ve been reading for a few months. I think I found you via Aretha or Nerd Girl. Chile IDK! I’ll eat a banana before assuming banana flavored things are okay. Love banana pudding in its entirety but banana candy and liquer? Gross. I love the taste of vanilla but the smell of it, particularly artificially (candles, sprays, etc.) is so disgusting to me. My list has the ultimate gasp-worthy one: Luther. HATE. HIM. Since the Kellz debacle, I’ve also hit next when he comes on. Not a huge AKeys person, either. I can see the appeal of Prince but in general, he doesn’t do it for me. I’m ruining lives in this comment. Lolol. Please tell us why you’re afeared of cats!
